Brush Brush Brush Your Teeth! This week we explored many activities and lessons about keeping our teeth healthy. We read stories, watched videos, and used hands-on teeth models to practice ways to brush and floss. We learned about cavities and eating foods that are good for our teeth. Ask your child about the "2" Rule for healthy teeth.
We used our imagination when we read about "What If You Had Animal Teeth?" Have your child tell you about what animal teeth they would choose and why?

Tubs This week students are beginning a variety of activities to explore their number sense using numerals 1-10. We are so lucky to have Grade 5 helpers to assist our students during our math tub time. These are some of the "I-Can" statements from our CBE Kindergarten curriculum:I can recognize and name the numerals 1-10.
I can recognize a number of objects as a quantity.
I can relate a numeral to a specific quantity.
I can subitize quantities of 5 in familiar patterns.
I can count within 1-10, forward and backward starting at any number.
