Brush Brush Brush Your Teeth! This week we explored many activities and lessons about keeping our teeth healthy. We read stories, watched videos, and used hands-on teeth models to practice ways to brush and floss. We learned about cavities and eating foods that are good for our teeth. Ask your child about the "2" Rule for healthy teeth.

 

We read a book called "Ollie the Boy Who Became What He Ate" and then we tried to make ourselves turn into an Ollie pop by picking a good food that would give us lots of "power" or energy.

Germs vs Soap We also learned about keeping those pesky germs away using soap. Germs like to hang out on our hands and make unhealthy. But Soap is to the rescue...have your child show you the steps to washing the germs from your hands.

❄️SNOW Much Fun!! Monday we arrived to the best winter snow yet! Perfect for making snow angels and building little snow hills, snowmen, and snow houses! Thank you families for getting your kids snow ready...snow pants, boots, hats, mitts.

See below for Conference dates/times:

Conferences will be 15 minutes each at the following date/times:

• Thursday November 28 (4:30pm-8:00 pm)- In-Person Sessions at Simons Valley School 
• Friday November 29 (8:30am-1:00pm)- In-Person Sessions at Simons Valley School 

Kindergarten will have an additional virtual session:

• Thursday November 28 (1-3 pm)- Virtual Sessions on Microsoft Teams 

Conference booking will open for parents on Thursday November 21 after 4:30pm. You will need to schedule a time to meet with your child’s lead teacher in PowerSchool. Please see the following links for instructions on how to book a conference.
