Winter is Coming...Winter Solstice is not until December 21 this year but our kindergarten class is getting ready. Last Leaf First Snowflake to Fall is a beautiful journey of a father and son into nature at that secret moment when fall turns into winter. Owl Moon is another adventure but this time with a father and daughter who go owling late one winter night when the trees stand like statues and the world is silent. Whoo, Whoo, Whoo is the mysterious night time bird?
The Kindergarten kids were so excited to create their own beautiful winter art using water colour pencils to paint their winter trees and night sky.
Germs vs Soap Last week we learned about keeping our teeth healthy. This week we learned about keeping those pesky germs away using soap. Germs like to hang out on our hands and make unhealthy. But Soap is to the rescue...have your child show you the steps to washing the germs from your hands.

One day, Colour Monster wakes up feeling very confused. His emotions are all over the place. He feels angry, happy, calm, sad, and scared all at once. Colours are one way we can help young children to unpack their feelings and identify their emotions to feel more in control. Ask your child what colour monster they feel like today?
New Table Top Centres!
Kindies have been working with some new table top centres this week....bins of manipulatives to help us be calmer and have quieter play options have been added to some of our other centres!

Parent conferences are now scheduled for December 7 (afternoon/ evening and December 8 (morning). You can book online starting TODAY December 1, 2023 at 4:30pm. We look forward to meeting with families
